YOU ARE HERE: WHO WE ARE > WHO WE ARE > VISION
Our Vision
Drawn to Christ…impacting our world.
Our Mission
To build a dynamic Christian community that attracts people to Christ, helps them take their next step in faith and equips them to serve God in the world.
No vision is achieved in one big moment: it comes into place through a series of small steps. Our commitment at Crossroads is to help each person who comes into our community to take the next step that is appropriate for them in their journey of faith in Christ. For some this will be the first step, and Crossroads is a community in which many people have come to faith for the first time. For others, there are later steps of growth in a continuing journey of transformation. God changes us from the inside out, and through us seeks to change the world – and there is always a next step we can take in this process. Based on our experience of the way people experience faith, we have identified five key areas in which we want to resource people to take their next step. These five are:
1. Get some Help...
by receiving personal prayer or counseling, and making contact with our prayer and pastoral teams.
2. Get Connected...
to a LIFEgroup and other community groups for all ages, be proactive about developing friendships, nurturing spiritual growth and applying faith to life.
3. Get Involved...
by taking the Unique Design course, discovering your gifts and passions, and serving as a volunteer.
4. Get Equipped...
by committing to a short course or an ongoing study program in Biblical studies, by committing to spiritual growth, life skills and leadership development.
5. Get Going...
by joining in a short-term mission trip, engaging in local projects or supporting through finance, awareness and prayer for the missionaries of our community.
