This year we’ll be doing a day camp styled weekend like the past couple of years with the theme of Come Sail Away! Hop aboard the ship as we set sail to various excursions throughout the “globe” and learn what it means to be citizens of Heaven living in this world.
This year’s camp is open for 9-14 year olds, will be from 21-23 June, and cost €80 for registration before May 27 (€10 late fee after that till 9 June). For each additional kid you get €10 discount.
Our base/meetup location will either be the new XRDS Community Center or some other location in the Amstelveen/Amsterdamse Bos area.
We’ll be doing a ton of fun activities (stuff like swimming, crazy games, kayaking, biking, smores, etc) around the area, eating tasty food, meeting new friends, and learning about what it’s like to be a citizen of Heaven who is temporarily living on Earth. Something that will resonate with many of the multicultural/dual-citizen youth who attend. This year’s theme is cruising and fits well with the idea of visiting different locations, trying new things, and having a good time whilst understanding that the boat is not one’s actual home. It’s only temporary.
