Due to COVID rules, prisoners at Judicial Complex Zaanstad are spending a lot of time in their cells and visitation is still extremely limited. Do you have a musical instrument that you are not using anymore that you would like to donate to the prison to enable a prisoner to learn a new instrument or play one during the solitary hours in his cell?
When a prisoner is detained, he only has the clothes he was detained in to wear in prison. If he doesn’t have family or friends nearby that can visit and bring clothes, they have no means to obtain clothing. Therefore men’s clothing is very much needed. Donations of jeans, tracksuit pants, t-shirts and shoes would be much appreciated!
Coordinate with your LIFEgroup and ask friends and/or neighbours if they have instruments or clothing to donate. Donated items can be dropped off between 09:00 and 13:00 at the address above.
