At XRDS, we believe we are called to welcome the stranger, love our neighbor, and serve those who are rebuilding their lives in a new country.
This outreach supports newcomers to the Netherlands, many of whom are refugees, by helping them learn and practice Dutch in a friendly and encouraging environment. We serve at a location in Amstelveen where more than 300 refugees are currently living, offering practical language support and community connection.
Learning Dutch can open doors to friendship, confidence, work, school, appointments, and daily life in the Netherlands. Through simple conversation, teaching, encouragement, and presence, we have the opportunity to show the love of Christ in a practical way.
