In much of rural Angola, a journey that takes minutes by air can take days by road, if the road exists at all. Since April 2014, Marijn and Noortje Goud-Witteveen have served with Mission Aviation Fellowship there, together with their children Judah and Salomé.
Marijn works as a pilot and mechanic. That means flying medical evacuations for people who would otherwise have no way to reach a hospital, and carrying missionaries, aid workers and supplies into remote communities. Noortje is a teacher, using her experience to support children where the need is greatest, and homeschooling Judah and Salomé.
Their shared desire is simple: to show God’s love in a practical and personal way.
