As the founder and CEO of Mosaic, Mosaic Equity, and Wellbi, I’ve spent the past decade building a connected ecosystem that strengthens families caring for orphaned and vulnerable children in South Africa.
My wife, Louise, and I are adoptive parents to three of our five children, and that experience shapes everything I do. Adoption, to me, is a reflection of God’s heart — restoration made visible.
About Wikus van Rooyen
Being employed as the Chief Financial Officer at Mosaic and gaining a good understanding of the day-to-day workings of the organisation, I became more involved with operations and organisational management. I have unique insights into leadership, compliance, and internal controls.

Based in South Africa, our mission is to establish a nurturing environment for the vast population of orphan and vulnerable children (OVC) and their dedicated caregivers throughout the African continent. We accomplish this by empowering communities and foster families through a range of essential interventions, including educational programs and comprehensive family support initiatives.
Our Vision: to see orphan and vulnerable children across Africa in a loving and caring family, where they can be equipped to realize their God-given potential.
