About our speaker:
Jean-Aimé Bigirimana was born in Rwanda in 1979 raised in Kenya and South Africa and emigrated to Canada in 2002. He is an internationally renowned House DJ, bicycle adventurer and World Bicycle Relief fundraiser better known as JaBig.
He has captivated millions worldwide with his DJ mixes and intrepid cycling escapades. As a child of the King and an expat raised across various cultures he will share his fascinating journey through life.
This includes cycling across Canada in winter on a fixed-gear bike (setting a Guinness World Record in the process) a second in 2020 this time amidst the pandemic around the United States in 2022 and in 2023 across Europe from Norway to Spain traversing 12 countries.
Through his dedication to both his music and cycling, JaBig has broken barriers and inspired countless individuals worldwide.
JaBig’s tale of passion perseverance and pedaling serves as a shining testament to the extraordinary heights one can reach when fueled by love for adventure, personal growth and a desire to make a positive impact on the world with Faith as foundation.
About Crossroads
With over 60 nationalities represented, Crossroads International Church is a melting pot of cultural backgrounds within a community that is becoming increasingly diverse. Through the Expat Ladies Mornings, we are trying to create a safe space for women, especially mothers with young children, who are in need of community and support in the integration and adjustment process – regardless of how long they have been in the Netherlands.
